Cindy served as the North Texas LMSC (NTLMSC) Board Co-Chair (2014), Fitness Chair (2016-2025) and Membership Chair (2020-2025). She was a National Fitness Committee member (2019) as well. Cindy led the NTLMSC’s Go The Distance program with an incentive system which encouraged swimmers to become involved, regularly exercise, and track their progress. She received the Fitness Award (2018) for her contributions. Cindy helped manage 2 LMSC swim events per year and she devised programs and events geared to all levels which helped build a stronger North Texas swim community.
