Linda was active in the Virginia LMSC for a number of years. She served terms as the LMSC Secretary and Chair in the 1990’s. Linda was well known for her leadership in directing the annual Chris Greene Lake 2-mile Open Water Cable Swim in Charlottesville. The event was a Long Distance National Championship three times while under her leadership. Linda attended USMS Convention regularly and served on the Marketing Committee for nearly ten years.
