A late bloomer when it came to swimming, Ann was in her late 40’s when she began doing laps. Her love of fitness swimming evolved into competing for O*H*I*O Masters at every Spring Nationals since 2012. She became a Level 1 & 2 Certified USMS Coach and an ALTS instructor. On the local level Ann served as the LMSC Secretary, Vice Chair and Fitness Chair. She was club O*H*I*O’s President, and her Zone’s Vice Chair. On the national level, she attended conventions and joined the Fitness Education Committee in 2016. When Covid-19 shut down pools and programs, Ann organized the club’s annual meeting and awards night via Zoom format. And, during the shut-down period, she researched and helped develop best practices protocol, which were quickly put in place when re-openings were announced.
