Rich has been an active member of Pacific Masters LMSC, utilizing his graphics skills and marketing expertise.  Nationally, he served on and chaired the Marketing Committee and designed the logo for United States Masters Swimming.  He was instrumental in the partnership of USMS and Swimming World Magazine to push for the adoption of Swim Magazine as the official magazine of USMS.
