Joanne Tingley is remembered as "The Queen of Kentucky Masters Swimming. She was a fixture in the LMSC from the very beginning, and served as secretary and treasurer for years, and registrar literally for decades. She volunteered as an official, and often was clerk of course at meets, not just at her home pool at Lakeside Swim Club, but also at other meets throughout the LMSC.
