Lisa’s first contribution was to coordinate marketing for the PNA-hosted 2007 Short Course Nationals, by contacting local businesses for contributions, food for hospitality and cash donations. In her second term as Vice Chair of PNA, multiple initiatives were started such as encouraging new swimmers to compete in meets by offering “new swimmer” goodie bags.  This practice resulted in over 70 new meet swimmers in the first year.  To support and encourage the swimmers at national meets, Lisa championed the sponsorship of coaches, resulting in more spirit, better relay coordination, and positive camaraderie among swimmers. As a LMSC board member commended, “Lisa has the ability to get anyone excited and engaged on any idea for Masters Swimming.”
